Very nice pair of Japanese monochrome studio pottery Kyoto /Awaji style vases with a light turquoise / aqua / blue green colored glaze. The foot rings are unglazed and one is marked with an incised Japan in block letters. This tells us it was made between 1890 and 1922 (after 1922 export pieces had to be marked "Made in Japan" instead). Perfect accents for a console / entry way / sofa table or mantle. In very good used condition with minor imperfections from the time of manufacture and hairlines to one of the undersides as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
Measurements: 11" tall by 4" diameter at base and 6.5" diameter at widest point approximately.
