Beautiful hand-colored aquatint etching entitled Cartoon Gallery, Hampton Court from The History of the Royal Residences by William Henry Pyne. It consisted of 100 aquatint plates by noted artists Rowlandson, Stephanoff, Bennett, Havell, Sutherland, and Wild, and offered a rare glimpse at the interior architectural design and furnishings of Royal homes. Inscription on the page reads as follows:

This gallery once housed the Raphael cartoons, hence its name. This is one of three aquatints from the same series listed separately. It comes in a traditional gilt wood frame and mat enhanced with hand drawn lines. In very good used condition as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
