Beautiful hand-colored aquatint etching entitled The Blue Velvet Closet, Carlton House from The History of the Royal Residences by William Henry Pyne. It consisted of 100 aquatint plates by noted artists Rowlandson, Stephanoff, Bennett, Havell, Sutherland, and Wild, and offered a rare glimpse at the interior architectural design and furnishings of Royal homes. Inscription on the page reads as follows:

This is one of three aquatints from the same series listed separately. It comes in a traditional gilt wood frame and mat enhanced with hand drawn lines. In very good used condition with small imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.

Measurements: Frame: 17 1/8" by 15 3/8" (43.5 cm by 39 cm); Visible Image: 10 7/16" by 9 1/16" (26.5 cm by 23 cm) approximately.
