Beautiful bronze bust sculpture of Helen of Troy signed on the back's bottom edge J. Clesinger, Rome and dated 1860. Above the signature is the inscribed foundry mark of F. Barbedienne Fondeur and, on the side, the A. Collas reduction seal. It depicts Helene of Troy wearing a jeweled crown, a serpent shaped bracelet and a pearl necklace. In Greek mythology, she was considered the most beautiful woman in the world. In very good used condition with patina wear and minor imperfections to stone base as shown. Shipped professionally packed, fully insured with tracking number.
