Lovely French lithograph entitled Baigneuses (Bathers) after Fantin Latour a nude young woman lying on the grass. Henri-Théodore Fantin-Latour (1836-1904) was a French painter and lithographer. A contemporary of the Impressionists, Fantin Latour had a style of his own, more classic and academic. We have seen similar lithographs described as printed on chine colle 1898. Chine colle is a a process that allows printing on a very thin paper which better captures the details of the drawing. Comes framed and ready to display as shown. In very good used condition with minor imperfections from the time of manufacture, light toning and spots to silk mat as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number. Shipping cost is approximate, please provide zip code for shipping estimate to your location.
