Interesting and expressive opaque watercolor painting on a Persian manuscript. It depicts a seated young Qajar prince and two women walking towards him bringing three hesitant young girls, most likely to be placed in his harem. It is painted on an old, laid paper page inscribed on both sides. In good used condition with toning to paper and some paint flaking as shown. Comes framed and ready to display.
