Antique English silver manicure set in leather case made circa 1913 -1914, just before the onset of World War I. All pieces are marked sterling except the Sheffield, England silver plated scissors. The set is comprised of five pieces including a nail buffer, cuticle pusher, nail file, sterling lidded small crystal jar and silverplate scissors. The first three items are marked with the city of Chester shield, the sterling mark of a Lion Passant, silversmiths initials ISG (stands for Chester silversmith I.S. Greenberg & Co.), and year letter "N" (1913) for the cuticle pusher and "O" (1914 ) for the other two items. The marks on the jar lid are illegible and the silver plated scissor handles are marked Sheffield, England. Instruments in good used condition with wear and imperfections to case as shown.
