Unique Herend, museum quality, Fancy vase form number 6660 made only in the year 1949 depicting a porcelain worker standing in front of a huge factory on one side and a globe surrounded by a ribbon of flags stemming from Hungary on the reverse. A lengthy text inscription on the bottom front reads as follows: A szakszervezetek harmadik világkongresszusának a Herendi Porcelángyár dolgozóitól (For the third world congress of trade unions from the employees of Herend Porcelain Factory). An historical piece custom painted in 1949 in this special pattern specifically for this occasion. In very good used condition with partly erased gilt text and small scratches as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
