Lovely, large and heavy .800 silver round, scalloped, footed bowl marked with crescent and crown representing the Reichsmark (German state), a compulsory silver mark in Germany since 1888; 800; and silversmith's Hugo Böhm's mark resembling grains of wheat. Hugo Bohm & Co of Schwäbisch Gmund (a town in Eastern Germany) was founded in 1887 in and advertised its gold and silver wares in the 1902 / 1903 Journal der Goldschmiedekunst (Journal of Goldsmithing). In good used condition with imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
