Fine antique English plate decorated with a landscape and turquoise and gilt borders. It is marked on the underside in red script Kirkstall Abbey and has an incised English registry mark. Kirkstall Abbey is a Cistercian monastery, now in ruins, founded c.1152 on the north bank of the River Aire in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. In very good condition as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.

Measurements: 8.8" diameter (22.5 cm) approximately.
