Beautiful engravings of pastoral scenes signed in pencil on the margin William J. Allingham (19th Century). One shows a group of young women and children picking apples from a tree and the other a similar group shearing sheep. They are hand colored and were published by G. J. Howell and Co., London c. 1915/1916. They come in fine gilt frames with eglomise (painted glass) mats. In very good used condition with losses and imperfections to frames as shown. Photographs taken through the glass which explain reflections. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
