Elegant pair of English nobility portrait engravings after drawings by Hans Holbein the Younger. The text on each of the engravings reads as follows:

Fitz Williams Earl of Southampton Holbein J. S. Facius In His Majesty's Collection

The Lady Surry Holbein Cooper In His Majesty's Collection

Both subjects are listed in 1900 publication "A Catalogue of Engraved Portraits of Celebrated Personages chiefly connected with the history and literature of Great Britain."

Hans Holbein the Younger, (1497/98-1543), was an outstanding German painter and draftsman known for the realism of his portraits and active in the court of King Henry VIII of England.

They come ready to display, nicely matted and framed. In very good used condition with toning and imperfections to frames as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.

Measurements: Frames: 16" by 13"; Visible Image (mat opening) 9" by 6" approximately.
