Extraordinary pair of bell-shaped ship decanters with 8 matching cordials. All pieces have a dark red and clear glass punty pattern and a rayed star cut base. The set is unmarked but we have seen similar bottles described as Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, Mass., c.1850 (Kaiser / Barlow book on vases, colognes and stoppers). The stoppers have a flat top decorated with clear, indented design matching the clear part of the decanter necks and consistent with stoppers used for decanters at Boston and Sandwich. In very good used condition as shown. Shipped professionally packed and fully insured with tracking number.
Measurements: Decanter including stopper: 9.75"tall; w/o stopper: 8.5" tall; cordials: 3 5/8" tall approximately.
