Beautiful pair of Meissen crossed swords salad or dessert size plates decorated with different flowers, and enhanced by scalloped and gilt borders. Both are marked on the underside with blue, under the glaze, crossed swords marks. The plate with the purple flower has the crossed swords mark with pommels used in the 1815-1924 period and appears to be older than the plate with the orange colored flower, apparently a poppy. Both are first quality pieces as evidenced by their marks. In very good used condition as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
Measurements: 7" diameter (17.5 cm) approximately.
