Charming Limoges wide mouth, gilt handled pitcher decorated with hand painted cherries on the upper rim and an opalescent finish inside. It is marked on the underside with a green porcelain mark used in the 1891-1932 period by William Guerin & Cie. William Guerin (1838-1912) was born near Limoges, was trained in porcelain making techniques and operated his business there. Guerin's sons William and Andre joined the company in 1903. and continued the business after his death in 1912 until 1932 when the factory closed. In very good condition with minor wear to paint as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
Measurements: 6" tall, 6.5" at base, 8.5"at widest point (spout-handle) approximately.
