Pair of beautiful watercolors of Italian towns with gilt mats and elaborate decorative frames. The one on the left depicts a market in an old town square with a typical, yellow stone, Romanesque architecture basilica in the background. The one on the right depicts a tall white cathedral, possibly Siena's Duomo, viewed from a narrow alley. Both are signed on the lower right with thick, watercolor strokes, apparently Jas. Holland. In very good used condition with some toning and imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
Measurements: Frames: 19.5" by 15.75"; Visible Image Market: 13.5" by 9.75"; Visible Image Alley: 12.5" by 8.75" approximately.
