Elegant acid etched, antique Baccarat vase decorated by Daum Nancy with gilded flowers and a butterfly with a Far East influence in shape and decor typical of the Aesthetic Movement. Its prominent use of elements of nature-- flowers and butterfly-- is also consistent with this style. The vase has a square mouth and base and stands on a raised foot. It's textured surface contrasts with the smooth glass of the gilt edged decoration. It is signed on the underside in intaglio Daum Nancy France, the decorators mark, but the vase shape is characteristic of Baccarat. In very good used condition with minor imperfections as shown. Shipped professionally packed, fully insured with tracking number.
