Extraordinary 18th Century, Famille Rose Chinese Export, also referred to as Lowestoft, large octagonal platter with notched corners. It is decorated with a free style arrangement of flowers painted in enamels in China according to the English taste. The "orange peel" appearance of the porcelain is indicative of late 18th-century Chinese export porcelain made in the days of the East India Trading Company for western markets. In very good used condition with small losses to enamel paint as shown. Shipped professionally packed and fully insured with tracking number.
