Art Nouveau / Jugendstil terracotta figure of young maiden looking in an oval shaped mirror. It has a blue patina that intensifies towards the base and is signed on the bottom:

Koenig & Lengsfeld was a German ceramic maker based in based in Cologne-Lindenthal who, at the turn of the century, had branches in Paris, Brussels, St. Petersburg, Hamburg and Leipzig. Koenig & Lengsfeld sculptures were displayed in a large stand at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri. Woman and mirror was a recurring theme and a similar bronze version sold for a record price at a major international auction house. In very good used condition with wear to mirror and minor imperfections as shown. Shipped professionally packed, fully insured with tracking number.
