A vintage Purinton Slip Ware canister set in the popular Apple pattern. There are four canisters, one for Flour, one for Sugar, one for Tea and one for Coffee. Each is stamped on their bottoms with Purinton Slip Ware. These would be circa 1940's and the apple pattern was designed by William Briar. All hand-painted so each may appear a little different. The colors are nice and vibrant.
Each canister measures five and a half inches tall with lid, six and a quarter inches side to side and four and a quarter inches from front to back. Each has a depth of three and a half inches. Each canister weighs in at two-lbs, so package will be heavy and large, so please keep that in mind when seeing the shipping amount.
All in wonderful vintage, collectible condition with no chips or crazing. The flour one has a tight crack that appears to have been done at time of firing. This set is clean and near perfect. A great set to display on a shelf, counter, hutch or country kitchen. If you love apples this set is for you!
