An early 1900s, French Aubusson tapestry. Showing a young man wooing his young lady with another man sketching them in his sketch book. Another young lady and a man peeking over a wall are watching with interest. There is a sweet spaniel dog lying on the ground just taking it all in. On the upper left is cupid with his arrows watching down on the couple and on the upper right is another figure, possibly Venus the Goddess of Love and beauty with another little angel or cupid.

Measures thirty six inches long / wide by twenty seven inches tall including fringe.

Wonderful condition having no holes or rips. No tabs for hanging, but, there are three small, sewn on cording tabs for hanging as shown in one photo. There is one on each corner and one in the center.
