This is an extremely interesting Oriental set, most probably from the 60's rather than the 50's, which is in excellent condition and is signed `Colco'. It features faux ivory Chinese figures made from some type of heavy plastic; on the bracelet we have, going from left to right, an old man (I think!), a scribe seated with a scroll, a lady with a fan, the face of a bearded man, and a robed and bearded man with a comfortably rounded stomach. This gentleman is also featured on the matching clip earrings. The setting is shiny gold-tone. The bracelet measures 7 ½ inches long by 1 ¼ inches wide and the earrings are 1 ¼ inches high. The bracelet and one of the earrings are signed `Colco' on the reverse. I have seen various components from this parure being sold as Selro, but the signature `Colco' here is perfectly clear, as these pieces are in such good condition. There is a small area of wear to the detailing on the head and arm of the old man to the left of the bracelet; other than this, these pieces are in excellent condition with no wear to the gold tone finish.
