This is an incredible find that I discovered in the 80's while I was playing tourist in Paris, a wonderful vintage silver 1890's French made charm bracelet. One charm is stamped with the 1838 Boar’s Head and the other four have the Wolf Cartouche that is the Paris Assay Hallmark. The bracelet and charms have tested as 835 silver and it measures 8" in length by 1/8" thick. You can see that the links are hand formed. There are five charms: A cork screw that opens and measures 7/8" in length unopened with the bail ring by ½" wide, and when opened it measures 1 ½" in length; A thimble that measures 3/8" in length with the bail ring; A fireside bellows charm that measures 7/8" tall with the bail ring by 3/8" wide with the 1838 Boars Head Cartouche; The most beautiful and intricately detailed drinking cup that measures 3/8" by 3/8" in diameter, and with its handle it is 5/8" in length; and lastly a beautiful vase that measures ¾" tall (It has a couple of dents, but it is still quite striking). This would make a wonderful addition to a collectors’ jewelry stash. Don't miss out on this 1890's RARE find!
