This is a 1902 Edwardian era Frederick Marson bracelet that measures 7" in length by 1/4" wide. Each link is marked with an elegant lion passant hallmark, and two links are marked FM with the cat face and the letter g for the year 1902. It weighs 28 grams. The padlock is an early English style and measures 7/8" long with the hasp by 5/8" wide and is marked STERLING on the hasp. It opens with a key charm measuring 1/2" long attached to a 1" length chain and both tested as sterling. With the padlock attached to the bracelet it will give you an added 1/4" of wearable length. Although the padlock looks lighter than the chain link bracelet in the photographs they complement each other in person to the naked eye.
