This is a rare centerpiece that is considered to be in the bride's basket family. This is a spectacular Victorian piece! The glass bowl is featured in an olive-green color with a scalloped rim. It sits perfectly in the silverplate base. The base consists of three full-bodied birds, which are breathtaking. Each bird stands on a leafy branch. The bottom of the holder has an English stamp. It sits perfectly level, however when turned over, each foot is a little different; this is how it was made. It stands approximately 11 1/2 inches tall and is in excellent condition. A must-have for any serious Victorian glass or silverplate collector.
