This is a 1940's pot metal brooch. A material that was commonly used during the wartime era due to the lack of other metals. This has a single large flower with several buds. There are also leaves through out the piece. This brooch has a silver tone wash with very minor finish loss. There are pave set rhinestone accents through out brooch. The condition is very good. The closure is a safety roll over clasp soldered to the frame with a straight pin stem. It is an elegant, larger, and heavier piece.
