This gorgeous set is signed Karu Arke on all pieces. It consists of a circular brooch with fall shades of topaz, citrine and AB stones. The clip back earrings are comma shaped with the same fall colors. Karu Arke jewelry was a collaboration of Kaufman and Ruderman of New York City, NY. The company was in business from 1940 to the 1970's. The Karu Arke mark was first used in 1954 or earlier. This lovely set would date to the 1960's. The closure of the brooch is a safety roll over clasp soldered to the frame with a straight pin stem. Size of the brooch is 1 3/4 inches in diameter. The clip back earrings are 1/4 inch width by 1 1/4 inches in length. The finish is a light gold tone and the set is in very good condition with bright stones.
