This very long flower brooch is signed Coro. It dates to the 1960's. Coro jewelry was founded in New York City by Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberg in 1901/1902 and incorporated in 1913. A factory was established in Providence, RI in 1911. By 1979 all the Coro companies except the Canadian company were bankrupt. The finish on this brooch is light gold tone and the flower is accented with AB rhinestones. The closure is a safety roll over clasp with a straight pin stem. Size is 1 1/8 inches in width by 3 1/4 inches in length. There is a stress crack above the lower leave but appears to be stable. Price will reflect this issue.
