This is an interesting necklace dating to the 1940's. It is made of vegetable ivory carved from the tagua nut. The beads are dyed in various shades of brown. They have a ribbed or ringed design. The beads are in graduating sizes with small spacer beads in between. It is light weight. Size is 16 inches in length. The closure is a spring ring clasp. It is very good condition and is string strung.
