This late 1800's Victorian brooch is a floral design hand painted porcelain piece in a crescent shape. This was a popular pastime with the ladies of that era. It is gilded at each end with some gild loss. Frame is gold tone with much of the finish worn off on the reverse. The background of the floral design is white though it does show yellow in the pictures. The floral pattern is intact with no loss of enamel. Size is 1/4 inch in width by 2 3/4 inches in length. The closure is a C clasp.
