The firm of Dragsted was founded in Copenhagen in 1854 by Arent Nikolaj Dragsted. Dragsted participated in the London World Exposition in 1962 and was later appointed Danish Royal Court Jeweller. His sons Franz and Alfred succeeded him after his death in 1880. Ernst Dragsted took over in 1920 and was active throughout the 1950s. This is a beautiful white feather brooch in guilloche enamel with a gold wash over a sterling frame. It is in very good to excellent condition with only a slight bend to the pin stem. The closure is a roll over safety clasp. Size is 1 inch in width by 2 3/4 inches in length.
