This is a vintage brooch dating to the 1950's - 1960's. It has an open undulating Baroque frame in an ornate braided rope and smooth design. At each point are deep red pave set rhinestones. The focal point is a large oval deep red glass cabochon flanked by a row of deep red rhinestones. The closure is a safety locking clasp soldered to the frame. The pin stem is bowed but functions fine. Size is 1 1/2 inches in width by 2 inches in length.
