This is a gold tone brooch dating to the early 1900's. The curling design features a star with a prong set deep blue rhinestone surrounded by five crystal rhinestones. Extending on the left is a beaded curling leaf. On the right extends a curling stem with a small crescent moon, leaf and tiny flower. The closure is a unusual C clasp soldered to the frame with a straight pin stem. This early brooch is in very good condition. It is not clear if one crystal rhinestone is missing.
