This is a signed BSK large figural star brooch dating to the 1960's - 1970's. It is designed as an open five pointed star. The center has a large round white glass cabochon. Each leg of the star is accented with opaque white glass rhinestones in various sizes. The closure is a safety locking clasp soldered to the frame with a straight pin stem. Size is 2 1/2 inches in width by 2 1/2 inches in length. This brooch is in very good condition.
BSK was founded in New York City,NY in 1948 and in business until the mid 1980's. BSK stands for the initials of the three owners Benny Steinberg, Slovitt and Kaslo.
