This is a large early 1900's domed banded agate brooch. The oval stone is highly polished and reddish brown in color. There are tiny chips on the reverse edge only. The closure is a C box clasp with a T hinge securely glued to the stone with a straight pin stem. The stone is unframed. Size is 1 1/4 inches in width by 1 3/4 inches in length and 1/4 inch in height.
