This is a large vintage brooch with porcelain insert dating to the 1960's-1970's. The open frame has a lattice design with a antiqued dark gold tone finish. Breaks in the lattice are manufacturer's defects. The center features a large porcelain piece with a transfer print of a collie dog. The closure is a safety locking clasp soldered to the frame with a straight pin stem. There is also a bale on the reverse for addition to a chain (not included) if desired. This brooch is in very good condition. Size is 1 5/8 inches in width by 2 inches in length.
