This is a vintage figural dress clip of emmer wheat. Size is 1 1/4 inches in width by 2 1/4 inches in length. It is in good condition with some surface wear.
It was advertised as a love token pin in the form of Egyptian wheat. It cost 25 cents accompanied by the letter "B" consumers had to clip from a product called Blu-White, a fabric brightener with "Miracle Nylaun," promising "Magic for Tired Nylon" because of its "Magic Bluing." The clip came attached to a card that read "Wear it Proudly! Your Caesar and Cleopatra Love Token Clip. Designed after the Egyptian jewelry worn by Vivien Leigh as Cleopatra in the famous motion picture. This offer expired Dec. 31, 1946 gave a New York box number and the name Barry Cameron.
