Antique Kestner 171 21 inch

Very sweet 171 J.D. Kestner 21 inch doll. One of my favorite mold numbers not quite the renowned “Daisy”. Just a little taller! . She has a marked body - marked Germany 2 1/2. Her body shows typical wear of an antique doll but nothing significant, and it is sturdy. Her head is marked made in Germany D1/4 171 8 1/4. Dolly has what seems to be her curled original mohair wig. Her eyes are a beautiful blue , they sleep and she has her eye wax, painted upper and lower lashes. Her dress is vintage her slip, bloomers and socks are antique. I believe her black oil cloth shoes are vintage and she wears a wonderful vintage white eyelet pinafore. She tops it off with an wide brimmed vintage white hat. This pretty dolly in very nice condition would love to belong in your collection!
