A rare set of four aquatint hunt prints by Henry Alken engraved by J. Harris and published by Ben Brooks in London. This set is in good condition except for some wrinkling and minor water stains (pictured). It is rare to have four original prints all together. They are framed in dark stained oak and ready to hang. Aiken has deftly titled and annotated the images and if you close your eyes you can almost hear the beat of hooves and the cries of the riders as they pursue their quarry. Each frame measures 22 1/2" x 18 1/2". I believe these were framed in the late 19th century. The glass is old seeded glass with bubbles.
