American Wringer Co. from the turn of the 20th century. This is the "Eclipse" commercial model and is in excellent condition. The graphics are in good condition and displayed on the wheel and the wood shelves. The company name "American Wringer Co., 99 Chambers St. NYC" are painted on the wheel The logo for the company was a horseshoe with the company's initials in the middle.The item is made of cast iron and the model name "Eclipse" is cast and prominently part of the frame. The rollers are made of maple as are the two shelves on either side. There are two cast iron handles on either side to compress the rollers as needed. The crank handle which processes the wet wash through the rollers works nicely. The iron frame is nicely pinstriped through out and the overall paint has survived well. It can roll on small wheels on the legs. This machine was made to withstand long years of use. The dimensions are 28 3/4" x 33" x 48 3/4" tall and weighs approx. 150lbs.
