A neat and colorful toy bank cash register, that has a slot for coins. When the lever is pressed down the number increments to indicate the amount. Works with dimes and nickels extremely well, quarters don't seem to register, perhaps modern quarters are slightly different? We tested it and as described it opened at 20 dollars (all zeros). However, if children want to put in coins, the bottom screws off easily to retrieve money inside. Pressed steel colors are bright with no rust. In great shape save for a few very tiny, unnoticeable dings. Very cool toy! Measures a little over 6 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 5 inches deep. Circa 1970s.
