Where to begin? Uriah Heep is a fictional character in Charles Dickens' David Copperfield, and....a very famous sixties and seventies rock band! In the Dickens sense, Uriah Heep is no rock star. He's sniveling, sycophantic character given to lies and self interest. Just look at him! As a figurine he's great, with lots of sneaky expression. He measures a little over 4 inches tall and is in perfect condition. These figures were made between 1922 and 1983, but he's an older one made from 1922 to 1932, the most desirable of his kind. Note that he has the Doulton England backstamp, therefore pre-war. Designed by Leslie Harradine. He's dastardly!
Most of these figures were first introduced in 1922, and were retired in the early 1980s. The oldest are marked Doulton England. Newer versions have various other backstamps.
