We know that this piece is English as the mold and transfer pattern is identical to T. M. Staffordshire "Flo Blue Romantic" series flow blue that was produced in the 1970s, reprising the romantic patterns produced in the Victorian era. However, this piece is unmarked. The cobalt transfer pattern is much crisper and more well defined than its peers, so we think that it was on offshoot of the series that didn't use the flow blue process. It's in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It has a lovely scene with a courting man and woman, and a castle with beautiful gardens. It's really pretty and quite unusual as muffineers go! The piece is substantial, standing almost seven inches tall.
