Produced from 1922 to 1983 and now retired, this engaging miniature has all the detail and quality of the full sized figures. There are a total of 25 of these characters to collect based on Charles Dicken's works (including Charles Dickens himself), and we have quite a few of them to offer. Sergeant Buzfuz was a barrister (lawyer) who represented Mrs. Bardell in the Pickwick Papers, a series of humorous misadventures. This figure is in perfect condition and measures about 4 3/8 inches tall. His expression is priceless! Great gift for someone in the legal professions, but an essential part of the collection as well.
Most of these figures were first introduced in 1922, and were retired in the early 1980s. The oldest are marked Doulton England. They were made in several size and material variations over the years. Newer versions have various other backstamps.
