A rare porcelain Art Deco era Royal Dux (Duxer Porzellanmanufaktur, or Dux Porcelain Manufactory, Czechoslovakia) nude, from the German occupation era of production from 1938 to 1945, depicting a surprised nude woman who is picking up a towel after bathing to cover herself, in a mildly erotic theme. This is certainly a hard to find porcelain item from Royal Dux in perfect condition, with the occupation era stamp on the bottom. A choice example, measures 9 1/2 inches (24cm) tall. Hard to find a perfect one, many are chipped on the bottom or otherwise damaged. Excellent!
