This item from
Tradewinds Antiques
is now SOLDAn exquisite Herend porcelain nude, beautifully sculpted and modeled by István Szilágyi Nagy (1900-1954). She definitely has the look and style of the Art Deco era. She's holding a gold mirror in her hand, and running her fingers through her hair. She's admiring her reflection, and rightfully so! Everything about this piece speaks to quality. This is a truly excellent example, with no wear to the gold, no chips, cracks or crazing. The bottom backstamp is of the style used from 1948 onward. We estimate this piece dates to the 1950s or 60s. Compelling and wonderful sculpture! She measures 24cm (9 1/2 inches) tall.
