This pitcher has the elaborate transfers that we would expect to see on a Victorian piece, with an added twist: bright colors are hand painted in to the pattern, making this a most interesting diversion from the usual. I had another of these in a different pattern and it didn't last long in our shop! Very pretty, this old pitcher, circa 1880 to 1900, measures 8 and 1/2 inches tall. Free of chips and cracks, some minor crazing that is hard to see. Even the spout interior is decorated. Really neat!
