A pretty pair of plates, measuring 8 1/2 inches in diameter. Pleasing basket-weave design with brightly colored fruit. The backstamp on the rear was used from 1907 to 1928. The pair have no chips, cracks or damage, but do have manufacturing flaws typical of the era. One plate has some kiln ash or debris fired in to the glaze, and one of the plates has an imperfection in the rim that was fired over. They are shown in the pictures, but are typically found on these items. Priced to attract a quick sale, these are very fetching plates for display!
