A two color jadeite bangle, very pretty, of B grade (enhanced), in a translucent and vibrant green and white. The white even has a distinct touch of lavender in the correct light. So why is this gorgeous piece of jade so affordable? It's the grade. What are the advantages of B grade:
Cost, color, and translucency are improved. The main disadvantage is that it cannot be exposed to harsh chemicals or prolonged exposure to intense sunlight - for example, don't wear it to the beach all day, or it could lose some of the color and durability. I will let you in on a secret: almost all of the jade bangles you are going to see under two hundred dollars are B or BC grade enhanced jade. Or, probably not jade at all but another stone. Sadly, a lot of jewelers will charge many hundreds or even thousands for enhanced pieces, and most people don't know the difference. This is a nice piece of real jade to wear and enjoy without spending a fortune. And - it has a very cool shape. It is not just round and flat on the interior, but has an added bevel, very uncommon, that gives it added dimension. Extra thick and heavy too! Priced to add to your jewelry collection today! Petite to small medium female wrist. Circumference is 7.34 inches. Get a piece if paper and cut to this size and tape ends together. If you can get your hand through it without tearing the paper, you're good to go.
