This is a very nice example of the extremely well made copper and brass tea kettles used by everyday folks about 150 years ago. Better quality cylinder type handle, great goose-neck spout, and concentric rings on the lid with a pretty brass knob. It's really a fine example, and in great condition too with no major damage, just the expected tiny dings from generations of faithful service. This is a full size tea kettle measuring 10 inches tall to the handle top and about 6 1/2 inches in diameter. What a beauty!
